Sun Direct started its Contact centre operations with leading expert service providers in India alongside the likes of Vertex, Shell Transource, Ismart Global and Intouch with a basic intent to cover customer handling including bookings, activations, transactions and grievances.
After continuous operation through these agencies for over 4 years, Sun Direct oversaw the Call Centre operations as part of a support team, until the sudden satellite failure which alarmed the importance of customer relation and CC operations. A small team consisting of experts with extensive knowledge in various fields was formed to handle this crisis and the output of this activity including data correction and critical analytics revealed the inadequacy of its existing Service partners like

Our board thereafter realized the importance of CC operations and decided to form a team from various departments with huge experience in customer handling and relation which lead to the birth of Sun Business Solutions.
When SBS took over the business from the Sun Direct, the CC was handling 30% less calls with 40% excess manpower. With our experience we were able to bring down the Manpower from 2500 to 1800, later on the process optimization we further brought it down to 1300.
